Icon Editor 1.5

Create 32x32 pixel, 16 color icons for your Windows folders and shortcuts.
Easy and fun to use. Just pick a tool and start drawing.

To install:

   Icon Editor requires no setup.
Just unzip the files to a new folder and run the program.
If you wish, you can create a shortcut to IconEdit.exe.
A folder of sample icons is included.

A word about transparent color:

Icon Editor lets you choose a transparent color for each icon you edit. However, it does not detect the transparent colors of icons when you open them; the transparent color defaults to white.

Bitmaps:

You can open a bitmap (.BMP) file in Icon Editor, with some limitations.
   (1) In the Open dialog's "File of Type" box, select Bitmaps.
   (2) Icon Editor opens a 32x32-pixel square from the bitmap's upper left corner.
   (3) When you save the bitmap as an icon, it is converted to 16 colors.
